A LUSAKA woman has narrated in the Magistrates court how her neighbour allegedly had sex with her 8 year old son.
Before magistrate Felix Kaoma was the accused Cindy Mulobe, 40, of Chilenje South.
The mother of the boy said she has known Cindy since December 2019 because she is a neighbour.
She said Cindy is not married and lives alone.
She said it was on 6 March around 22:00 hours when she heard noise coming from the passage in her house.
She said she went to check what was happening and heard her son crying in the toilet.
She said asked him why he was crying and he told her that his private part was paining and he can’t urinate.
She said his private part was swollen and when she touched him, he shouted that it hurts.
She said the following morning, she called her son and asked him why he was crying last night.
She said she checked his boxer and noticed that there was pus and when she checked his private part there was a lot of discharge.
She said she took her son to Chilenje Level One hospital and doctors prescribed three injections.
She said a few days later, she heard her niece asking him if he told his mother what had happened.
She narrated that her niece told her that Aunt Cindy was calling her son and another child and to go and sleep in her house.
She said she asked her son to tell her the truth and he disclosed that Aunt Cindy has been playing with his private part.
She said her son told her that he went to play at Aunt Cindy’s house and after sometime his friends left.
She said he told Aunt Cindy that he was going home to sleep but she called him and asked him to sleep in her house because his mother wasn’t around.
She said when her son slept, he saw Aunt Cindy opening her zip and taking off her clothes.
She said Cindy squatted and put his private part in her vagina.
She said her son told her that it happened twice, the first time being in February.
The matter comes up on 19 June for continued trial.
