Cops pick body of infant

NOEL IYOMBWA writes@SunZambianPOLICE in Lusaka have picked up a body of a fully developed baby dumped at a garage site at a farm.Police spokesperson Esther Katongo confirmed the discovery of the baby by a 46 year old Ernest Kandolo of Ibex Hill.Ms. Katongo stated that the baby was found on September, 11th 2020 around 08:00 hours.She said that Mr Kandolo discovered the fully developed infant at a garage site within the area where he works as a caretaker.The police spokesperson explained that no suspect has been arrested in connection with the matter.Ms. Katongo has since appealed to members of the public who could have information on the suspect to report to the nearestpolice.No suspect has been arrested yet. Remains have been buried and investigations in the matter have been instituted. “Police received a report from Ernest Kandolo of Ibex hill aged 46, that he discovered a body of a fully developed still born babydumped at the garbage site at the farm where he works as a caretaker.“The body was discovered today 11th September, 2020 around 08 hours,” Ms Katongo said.
