SUN SPORTS writes@SunZambianKITWE giants Nkana and Zesco United recorded their first MTN/FAZ Super Division wins after beating Kabwe Warriors and Lumwana Radiants in week three fixtures respectively.Congolese striker Idris Mbombo scored in injury time, beating goal keeper Lameck Siame with a volley which hit the cross bar before going in after benefitting from Diamond Chikwekwe’s assist to give Nkana a 1-0 win over Warriors at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.It was a big relief for the defending champions whose Super Division campaign started on a poor note following a loss to Forest Rangers and a draw against Lumwana Radiants on Wednesday.“I’m very happy. It’s a big relief for us, we really wanted to win this game,” said Nkana coach Manfred Chabinga.The win propelled Nkana to four points, three points behind Super Division leaders Forest Rangers who maintained top position after recording a 1-1 draw against Lusaka Dynamos at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.Emmanuel Habasimbi scored in injury time to cancel Adam Zikiru’s 90th minute goal for the sides to share the spoils.Meanwhile, at Independence Stadium in Solwezi, defender Adrian Chama rose high to head in Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba’s corner kick to give Zesco United their first win of the season following a draw against NAPSA Stars on match day one and a loss against Forest Rangers.It was Numba Mumamba’s first win as Zesco United gaffer since he replaced George Lwandamina who is linked with a move to Nkana to replace Chabinga.In other fixtures, played yesterday, Buildcon stunned Power Dynamos 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from Praise Tonha.At Garden Park Stadium, Kitwe United held Indeni 2-0 thanks to a brace from Evans Musonda while Petient Mwepu and Graven Chitalu scored for “Team Oil.”Red Arrows maintained their unbeaten record with goal keeper Kenny Mumba keeping a third clean sheet following their 1-0 win over Prison Leopards while NAPSA Stars collected their third consecutive stalemate after being held to a goalless draw by Young Green Eagles at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.RESULTS:Lumwana Radiants 0 – 1 Zesco UnitedPrison Leopards 0 – 1 Red ArrowsKabwe Warriors 0 – 1 NkanaPower Dynamos 0 – 1 BuildconNAPSA Stars 0 – 0 Young Green EaglesKitwe United 2 – 2 IndeniForest Rangers 1 – 1Lusaka Dynamos The Sun
