MANUFACTURERS CALL FOR POLICIES THAT SUPPORT SECTOR GROWTH
The Zambia Association of Manufacturers ZAM has recognized the need for government and policies to sufficiently support the growth of the manufacturing sector in the country. ZAM Vice President-South, Chipego Zulu says there is now need for Zambia to move forward strategically by implementing policies that have been established to support the growth of the manufacturing sector. The Zambia Association of Manufacturers ZAM has recognized the need for government and policies to sufficiently support the growth of the manufacturing sector in the country.
ZAM Vice President-South, Chipego Zulu says there is now need for Zambia to move forward strategically by implementing policies that have been established to support the growth of the manufacturing sector.
Ms. Zulu says part of the policy implementation expected is the review of the tax policy to ensure that over the next 5 years, it speaks to the growth of the manufacturing sector and value addition.
And Ms. Zulu has observed that the Zambian manufacturing sector has made significant strides over the last 55 years of Zambia’s independence to produce high quality products available on the domestic market and now penetrating the international market.
