Leopards eye Tanzania outing
TIM ZULU writes@SunZambianTHE Zambia Correctional Service Commission command will do all it can to keep the Eden University League Division One team well-resourced and motivated, Commissioner General Chisela Chileshe has said. The Prison Leopards chief said much as there are other needy areas that require some measure of resources, the command under his shoulders will always strive to see the team succeed more so that it is the flag bearer of the Correctional Service.“Hold on tight to what you have now and count it a privilege, because there is a horde of players out there wanting to join us because they are seeing what we are doing, that is why as a command we shall do all we can to keep you up there with dignity but as I have always said before, use this privilege that you have to the best of your abilities because better things are coming your way if only you do what is expected of you and die a little for the team,” said Doctor Chileshe.“We know that not all could be rosy, however the case, everyone who is part of this team should know that we will support you in every little way we can despite our meagre resources. Otherwise my coming here was to check out how you are shaping up and see if we still have some gaps in the team that need urgent attention.”Doctor Chileshe addressed the players during a lunch time interaction and pledged to find resources to enable the team travel to Tanzania for a final blending and tune up.And Club Chairman James Nkoloma said the massive help that his charges are receiving with the strong arm of support from the Commissioner General and team is a huge blessing to the team.“We don’t know what to say to you sir (CG), your level headed leadership is indeed out of this world and everyone in the team is moved by the level of commitment and support you show and render to this team and for that we shall try everything possible not to disappoint the service,” Nkoloma said.Nkoloma, who is also Copperbelt Regional Commander under the Correctional Service thanked the College Principal Richard Banda for opening up the facilities to his team at Mwekera Forest where Leopards are shaping up from. The Mwenya Chipepo-drilled side have so far seen out two friendlies were they lost the first game to Forest Rangers 1-0 and second 2-1,before losing to Nkana in another friendly match via 2-0 but turned things around in the second game beating the champions 2-1 in the game played at Nkana stadium.
