Government has observed that Zambian athletes have great potential of excelling in various sports disciplines despite failing to mint medals at the just ended Tokyo Olympic games.
Ministry of Youth and Sports Permanent Secretary John Phiri said local athletes have potential to perform at the biggest stage in global sports but need support.
