The 2 – 0 score line between Napsa Stars and Buidlcon FC saw them move to the log summit with 48points after 26 games played. The league comes to a close on Week 27 with the Pensioners assured of a Confederation of African Football (CAF) slot and in firm contention to lift the trophy. Napsa Stars head coach Mohammed Fathi says his side will be fighting for the title in as they travel and so welcomed the FAZ decision to end the league at Week 27. Meanwhile, national team player Kaseba will miss out on his club’s remaining fixture due to an injury picked at the Buildcon FC match. The injured player was visited by Chipolpolo head Milutin ’Micho’ Sredojevic. Kaseba was brought down by a Buildcon player and was forced out of the game in the 26th minute, with a twisted ankle and will be going for further medical check up on Tuesday next week.
