POLICE have discovered a body of a 34 year-old in Lwimba stream of Lwimba area in Chongwe district. POLICE have discovered a body of a 34 year-old in Lwimba stream of Lwimba area in Chongwe district.
In a statement made available to ZANIS in Chongwe yesterday, Zambia police spokesperson Esther Katongo said the deceased was identified as Kelvin Katite of Lukata village in Chieftainess Nkomeshya Mukamambo II’s chiefdom.
Ms. Katongo said the father of the deceased Cypriano Katitereported the discovery of his son’s body in Lwimba stream to Police in Chongwe.
She said the death of Katite occurred between 16th July 2020 and 19th July 2020.
Ms. Katongo stated that the man had been missing for three days before his body was found in the stream.
She said the scene where the incident occurred is yet to be visited by police in the area.
