Lusaka Lawyer Donates Coronavirus Kit

By NATION REPORTER
LUSAKA Lawyer Dickson Jere yesterday donated medical kit to the Matero After Care Centre to help in the fight against Coronavirus among the elderly people and their caregivers.
Mr Jere donated over 100 masks, gloves and an infrared handheld digital Thermometer to be used in checking the temperature of the aged at the Centre.

“This is my little contribution to the fight against Coronavirus. I targeted this Centre because the virus is lethal among the elderly members of society,” Jere said during the handover of the kit in Matero.
Mr Jere promised to source more of the other necessities such as bulk sanitiser and additional masks to meet the demand of the Centre.

And the Sister In-chargeof the Centre,Bridget Munungwe thanked Mr Jere for the donation saying it had come at a right time as the Centre did not have the gloves and masks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
“This donation is timely. It will help the caregivers and our elderly members here especially during this period of the Coronavirus,” Munungwe said.
