GOVT FOR CLEAN WATER

By OLIVER SAMBOKO in MbabalaGOVERNMENT is committed to providing clean water to ensure better sanitation for all citizens, Patriotic Front (PF) National Mobilisation Committee member Bizwell Mutale has said.Mr Mutale said the PF Government would continue to deliver development in Southern province as seen by the various developmental projects being undertaken.The PF official was addressing scores of Mbabala residents at Kabeta village in Choma.He said Government, under President Edgar Lungu, had performed well and that come 2021, the UPND and its surrogate parties would be shocked.Mr Mutale said the ruling party was headed for a landslide victory in the region following the people’s realisation that it was only the PF and President Lungu who had a vision for the country.He said tribal politics that the people in the region had been practicing for over 30 years had not benefitted the province in any way.Mr Mutale who witnessed the launch of borehole drilling projects in Southern province, said Government would provide clean water and sanitation for all.He noted that the Government had launched an ambitious programme that would benefit the people of Southern province despite them always voting for the opposition UPND“Come 2021, PF will shock UPND in Southern Province because the PF under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu has delivered on its campaign promises,” he said.Mr Mutale said it was sad that the people of Southern province had absentee UPND members of Parliament whose pre-occupation was towing partisan interests and walking out of parliament during important national debates.
