SUN SPORTS writes@SunZambian IN its quest to create room for the new signings, ‘Sensational’ Zanaco FC has sent out a total of eight first team players and one from Young Zanaco on loan as preparations for the new MTN/FAZ League season progresses.The nine players that will temporarily be playing their football away from Sunset next season include Jimmy Nakena, Mwansa Nsofwa, Golden Mafwenta, Emmanuel Okutu and goalkeeper Benson Mwale from Young Zanaco, Christone Jere, Chibesa Chanda and Damiano Kola. Nakena, Mwansa Nsofwa, Mafwenta, Okutu and goalkeeper Benson Mwale have been loaned to Buildcon FC on a partnership deal while Jere, Chibesa Chanda and Kola have been loaned to Konkola Blades.Meanwhile the club confirmed that, Cameroonian midfielder, Moussa Souleymanou has dumped the club after he opted not to extend his contract which is set to come to an end.On Chitiya Mususu the club confirmed that the striker is out of the country working out a possible move away from Sunset Stadium while defender, Lawrence Chungu’s new club will be announced as Zanaco plans to send the Chipolopolo left back on loan.The ‘Bankers’ who recently signed four new players are currently in the tourist capital of Livingstone where the team has set up camp ahead of the 2020-2021 soccer season.The team drilled by Coach Chris Kaunda who has selected 31 players for the Livingstone tour is looking to strengthen their side after missing out on the league title which was eventually won by Kitwe giants Nkana FC after it was prematurely concluded at week-27 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.Ex- Zambia Under-20 international Albert Kangwanda, who has penned a one-year deal from Kafue Celtic and 20-year-old Abraham Siankombo who signed a three year deal from Police College are all part of the Bankers’ squad in Livingstone.Former under-20 Chipolopolo midfielder Obino Chisala who signed a three-year deal from Happy Hearts made the cup while goal keeper Toaster Nsabata missed out on a trip to Livingstone because he was unwell, the club said.Congolese goalkeeper Lukong Mbuyamba Mutombo who joined Sensational Zanaco FC from Eden University National Division One Champions Indeni FC and signed a 2-year contract at Sunset Stadium is part of the team in Livingstone.The 24-year-old will compete with veteran Racha Kola, Mangani Banda, Clement Kasongo and Alpha Lukong for the position between the sticks.
