LATE Chief Justice Irene Mambilima was a well-balanced leader whose hallmark was service with excellence in whatever she did in Zambia, Africa and at the global stage, Vice President Inonge Wina has said.
Ms Wina expressed sadness that the country was yet again robbed of another accomplished public servant and leader in Justice Mambilima.
She said this yesterday in a statement issued by Permanent Secretary for administration in the Office of the Vice President, Mr. Stephen Mwansa.
Ms Wina said Justice Mambilima’s immense works and service to the nation that span over 40 years, shall not be forgotten in the archives of Zambia’s history.
The Vice President has since called upon the family to emulate the excellent works and track record associated with Justice Mambilima.
She also wished the Mambilima family God’s guidance, peace and blessings in this moment of mourning; that has also gripped the nation on account of the death of the Father of the Nation, Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda.
