PF canes ‘evil’ opposition leaders
By ROGERS KALERO SOME opposition politicians are scared of developing a sound relationship with the church because they are demon possessed and too stingy to give out anything, Patriotic Front (PF) Chimwemwe parliamentary candidate Allen Banda has said. Mr Banda said his decision to meet the church in his door to door campaign programme was aimed at cultivating a good relationship with them so that he could embrace them as partners in development once he was elected Member of Parliament (MP) on August 12 He was in an interview in Kitwe after visiting some churches in the constituency. Mr Banda said the PF had continued to work in close collaboration with the church because it played a vital role of providing spiritual guidance. He said he would always support the church in small projects because all the items which he owns were a blessing from God. “But some people who are stingy they are failing to accept that they are stingy and we are generous. Stingy people will always say bad things about those who are generous. Some of the opposition politicians don’t want to come to church because they are demon possessed while others are stingy,” Mr Banda said Mr Banda said he strongly believe that his humility and efforts to demonstrate his capacity to deliver development in a humble way. He during the time he has spent as a businessman and politician, he has understood the importance of being humble, generous and respecting any individual regardless of their status in society. He said the people of Chimwemwe constituency should vote for the PF and President Edgar Lungu because he had already set the stage economic recovery and national development through infrastructure development “A person who has the heart for the people will ensure that he uses his own personal resources to help the poor, but for the opposition parties like the UPND, they are failing to demonstrate their humility or generosity. They are brutal, violence and stingy,” Mr Banda said
