Otieno signs for Napsa Stars

MATHEWS NDANDULA writes @SunZambian NAPSA Stars Football Club has confirmed the signing of the Kenyan national and former Tusker Football Club Striker, Timothy Otieno on a three-year permanent deal.In statement released by Napsa Stars football club media and public relations officer Gwen Chipasula,Otieno who is 2019/2020 Kenyan Premier League top scorer with 14 goals, is the latest addition to the squad as it takes shape ahead of the 2020/2021 season.Club Board Chairperson Dr. Greg Nsofu disclosed that the Club concluded with Otieno’s transfer on Monday September 7, 2020. “We are excited to have Timothy here, we concluded everything yesterday and his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) came in. I’m happy to disclose that he is officially a Napsa Stars FC player and we trust that he is a good addition especially with the tasks ahead of us,” Dr. Nsofu said.And Otieno expressed excitement after his signing saying he will do his best to help bring glory to the squad both in the League and Continental competition.Napsa fc is expected to represent the country in continental football for the first time since it’s formation.The pensioners finished fourth on the Zambian super league table after a brilliant performance they showcased last season.
