MUKUNI NEEDS PRAYERS – BIGOGA
By NIZA NAYAME                        SENIOR Chief Mukuni needs prayers because his bitterness against President Edgar Lungu is getting out of hand, BIGOCA general overseer Peter Ndhlovu has said. Bishop Ndhlovu said Senior Chief Mukuni should come to tames that President Lungu was legitimately elected and needed to respect the will of the people. He wondered why the traditional leader had continued to attack President Lungu even when he does not answer back. Bishop Ndhlovu was reacting to sentiments by Senior Chief Mukuni that President Lungu hated him so much. He however challenged Senior Chief Mukuni to tell the nation when President Lungu indicated that he hated him. “President Lungu has never responded to Senior Chief Mukuni but the chief keeps on attacking him. It’s actually him who is bitter because he has never accepted that President Lungu is in power,” he said. Bishop Ndhlovu said the lack of respect the Chief had towards the presidency was disrespectful to the Zambian people. “You know when you want people to respect you, you must also reciprocate by respecting them,” he said. Bishop Ndhlovu said Senior Chief Mukuni needed prayers because his bitterness was getting out of hand. He said that President Lungu does not hate or harbour any grudges towards the chie . He said it was unfortunate that Senior Chief Mukuni had over the years had an antagonising stance with the government and President Lungu. Bishop Ndhlovu advised Senior Chief Mukuni to embrace everyone regardless of their tribe or political affiliations.
