A 48-YEAR-OLD man is alleged to have defied his biological 14-year-old daughter in Mpika district.
Mr Njase said that a concerned member of the public reported the incident on April 19 but said the acts were done on unknown dates.
In a statement, Mr Njase said that the facts of the matter were that the suspect divorced his wife, the mother to the victim, took advantage of the situation and had carnal knowledge of her.
“The matter of incest was reported by a concerned member of the public that Chibesa Cephas, 48, the biological father of a 14 year old girl defied his own daughter at Mufubushi village, Chief Luchembe in Mpika District this occurred on unknown dates,” he said.
Mr Njase said that the suspect had been detained at the police station.
