SIMON MUNTEMBA Writes A man identified as Abednigo Katuta of Lusaka was yesterday left howling in agony and pain after unknown people cut off his penis and testicles. The victim was brutally attacked at Lusaka’s Misisi Fly over bridge along Kafue Road in the early hours of yesterday before being left for dead in a pool of blood. Members of the public who found him lying in a pool of blood with missing genitals informed the police who took him to the University Teaching Hospitals (UTH). Confirming the incident, UTH public relations officer, Natalie Mashikolo said the victim was currently admitted and nursing wounds. “He is currently admitted in University Teaching Hospitals and nursing wounds that were inflicted on him after he had his testicles and penis chopped off by unknown people in the early hours of yesterday,” Ms Mashikolo said. She explained that the man was brought to UTH in a semi-conscious state by the police after being informed by members of the public that there was a man lying in a pool of blood under the flyover bridge. Ms Mashikolo said the victim was attended to in the accident and emergency Unit. She however said he was in stable condition and responding well to treatment. The Sun
