Lusaka court shut due to a suspected Covid-19 case
Rabecca Banda writes @SunZambian The Lusaka magistrates court has closed due to a suspected positive case of Covid 19 pandemic. A number of people who had matters at the court were asked to leave as their matters were adjourned to other dates and others did not even get a chance to enter the premises. The court has been closed to facilitate the fumigation of the premises to avoid the spread of the virus. The court will close for two days and is expected to resume to it’s normal duties on Monday next week. The Covid-19 pandemic in Zambia is part of the on going worldwide pandemic of Coronavirus disease 2019( Covid-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus. The virus was confirmed to have reached Zambia in March 2020.  Many people were infected by the virus and others died from the virus. The ministry of health has warned of the second wave of the virus and urges all citizens to wear a mask and take precautions against the deadly virus to avoid more lose of lives. There has been great concern that the second wave of the virus maybe more deadly.
