A LUSAKA lawyer, Dickson Jere has donated jersey and balls to division two George United FC of Matero constituency.
Jere made the donation after watching the midweek match between George United FC and Chawama Eagles played at Zecco Grounds in Matero.
George United FC is a Lusaka community team based in George compound.
“I thought of motivating the team by giving them new jerseys and soccer balls following a request by the team,” Jere said when he handed over the kit to the team.
Jere, who is also a sports administrator, assured the team that he will work on the Zecco grounds by installing an artificial turf and flood lights for use by the community.
And the players thanked Jere for the gesture and assured him that they will work hard to earn promotion to division one.
