By MICHAEL MIYOBA ZAMBIA’s envoys in the CAF Champions League, Zesco United and Zanaco have set base in Manzini, Eswatini and Ebibeyin, Equatorial Guinea for their respective games against Royal Leopards and Akunangui FC. Zesco United will face Royal Leopards at Mabuso Sports Stadium and Coach Mumamba Numba has predicted a tough match in Manzini. Numba, who is comforted that there are no injuries affecting the Zambian champions said the Ndola giants were ready for the game in Manzini after a successful preseason where they even won the Samuel “Zoom” Ndhlovu Charity Shield.  “I must say our preparations have been going on very well since we started our pre-season and the team is ready for the challenge ahead of us. We don’t have injuries in the team which is a positive sign for us. “We have come with the best squad which we can ever assemble looking at the players we have in the team. We are looking for the best result when we meet Royal Leopards on Saturday,” Numba said in an interview in Manzini. “We expect a very tough game. They are a very good side, but we equally have a better side. We have the manpower to get us a positive result. We have picked the best players for this game.” Numba is motivated by the return of defender Solomon Sakala, Dickson Chapa and Kelvin Kampamba who were with the national team. Meanwhile, Kenyan international and Zesco striker, Jesse Were has predicted an outright victory ahead of tomorrow’s clash. In an interview with the Zesco United media team, Were said the Zambian champions have been preparing since the beginning of the season and were ready to conquer Africa. Meanwhile, Zanaco FC coach Kelvin Kaindu has named a 20-member squad to face Akunangui FC in Sunday’s CAF Champions League preliminary fixture at Ebebiyin Stadium in Equatorial Guinea. Kaindu has named newcomers Isaac Shamujompa and Taonga Bwembya in the 20-member squad which also has experienced Chisamba Lungu, Kelvin Kapumbu and last season’s top scorer Moses Phiri who is leading a striking force consisting of Emmanuel Manda and Evans Katema.
