Family seeks justice for asaulted sisters

LINDA SOKO TEMBO writes THE family of the two women who were attacked two weeks ago at Mandevu Junction as they were trying to hike to Serenje District for a funeral have appealed to government to help find the perpetrators who attacked the two sisters. The man only identified as Mr Sakala the Husband of Elina Mwewa one of the women who was attacked said it was important that the perpetrators were brought to book to avoid more people being attacked and in some instances  killed.  In an interview with the Sun, Mr Sakala said the condition of his sister in-law Mirrian Chisenga who was found in an unconscious state a week after his  wifewas found in the same condition early this month was improving and that she was out of danger. Mr Sakala said it was unfortunate that Ms Chisenga could not remember the people who abducted her and later beat her up to  near death . “We are happy that my sister in law and my wife have been found. My sister in-law is out of danger but she can’t remember what happened to her all she remembers is that she was kept in a building and nothing else.  “She is not really in her normal state as she keeps forgetting things and we are praying that all will be well and that she will get back to normal,” she said.
