The trip will however be open to businesspeople from outside Luapula Province. He said it was shocking that there was no single Zambian product in all the supermarkets his delegation, which included Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister Vincent Mwale, Water, Sanitation and Environmental Protection Protection Minister Raphael Nakachinda, visited. Others in the delegation included Luapula Province Permanent Secretary Charles Mushota, Zambia’s Ambassador to DRC Friday Nyambe, Luapula Province Investments Coordinator Joseph Maopu and Housing and Infrastructure Development Ministry Chief Planner Bernard Mumba. “We need to take Kawambwa Tea, Mansa Sugar, Eagle beer, Mansa Chilli, Jimbara mealie meal and many other products are in Luapula and ready for export to go and showcase them in Kinshasa,” he said. “Would you believe that a kilogramme of goat meat is US$25 in Kinshasa supermarket? A pack and not a sack of tomatoes is US$12, while a single dressed chicken is US$25.” Hr stated that Government is considering various options of expanding export markets to other towns of the Democratic Republic of Congo, other than Lubumbashi
