Beware of political prostitutes – Mumbi PhiriBY ADRIAN MWANZAFormer PF deputy secretary general Mumbi Phiri has warned the ruling UPND not to tolerate political prostitutes who want to ascend to power by hook or crook.Ms Phiri said that the President needed to be careful and stick with the people he struggled with the time they were in opposition.She was reacting to the recent happenings in the DP where the president Harry Kalaba had been expelled from his party after they accused him of selling the party to the PF.Ms Phiri said that she gave kudos to the current president who had never joined any other party despite losing elections several times.“Personally I do not have respect for political prostitutes and I can give kudos to President Hichilema for sticking to his party and I also give respect to the late Michael Sata who came from UNIP, MMD but he later formed his own party,’’ she said.She said the current government needed to ensure that it stuck with people that worked hard for the victory and not what was happening in DP.Ms Phiri said that people celebrated the time Mr Kalaba resigned as minister of Foreign affairs which sent a strong message.
