Interxity Boxing Academy says that the guideline by the President has delighted them as their athletes will soon be back in action. Interxity Boxing Academy director Eddie Gowa said his stable had welcomed the development as it gave his boxers some green light to returning to action. Gowa said that his boxers had been dormant for the past three months and it was taking a psychological toll on them. He said that majority of the athletes under his stable depend on sport for livelihood as they also use it to fend for their education. He said that his stable was ready to adhere to all Government guidelines once sport was open. And Gowa said all the boxers under his stable that had been enrolled in school were making steady progress and that they were slowly adapting back into the school environment after having been home for about three months. He said that the online and individual training and also continued and that it had been complimented with the group gym training following for Government’s guidelines to have all the gym facilities open. Interxity Boxing academy had in May suspended all its activities and closed its camp house following the suspension of sports activities by Government. The stable has since welcomed back some of its boxers to its camp house so as for them to access school programmes.
