BALLY WILL FIX IT VS YOU FIXING YOUR MINDSET

Dear Editor, DURING the previous governments, from FTJ, Mwanawasa, RB, ba Sata and ECL, I have always known one thing and one thing only, for one to get paid they need to work. There isn’t such a thing as a free lunch in life. “There isn’t such thing as a free lunch” is an expression that describes the cost of decision-making. The expression conveys the idea that things appearing free always have some cost, or that nothing in life is truly free. You have to work to get paid. “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.” – Proverbs 12:11 As long as you don’t change your mind set of wanting free things, the “fixing” Bally is talking about will never ever be there for you. The best Bally will do is to create a suitable environment for jobs, business opportunities, but the rest will surely be yours to do. Even God our creator does the same. He creates opportunities for us. It’s up to us to either take advantage of those opportunities by using them wisely to better our lives or lazy around and allow poverty to rule in our lives.  “How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.” – Proverbs 6:9-11 So as we welcome and congratulate our seventh Republican President, Mr Hakainde Hichilema, Our now Bally, let us change our mindsets by embarrassing hard work, then maybe the fixing we want will surely take place. I rest my thought TROY MUKUPA. Lusaka
