TWO men in Choma have been committed to the High Court for trial in a case in which they are alleged to have committed murder.
Pux Fred Nyinda and Ezekiel Kamana Kwenda appeared in the Choma Magistrates Court accused of killing Mr Clive Moonga.
The incident is said to have occurred on September 16, 2020 in Choma.
The Choma Magistrates Court has committed two men to the High Court to exculpate themselves from the allegations of having to do with someone’s murder.
When Nyinda and Kwenda appeared for explanation of the charge before Resident Magistrate Ethel Phiri, they said they understood the charge read to them.
Public Prosecutor Catherine Sakala then presented the certificate of committal to the High Court from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Magistrate Phiri upon receiving the certificate committed the two for trial to the High Court at its next sitting.
They were remanded in custody.
