2 MINISTERS DROPPED AS DEPUTY SPEAKER ALSO AXED IN MUCHINGA PROVINCE ADOPTIONS
By SIMON MUNTEMBA TWO cabinet ministers and second deputy speaker of the National Assembly have been dropped and replaced by fresh faces in the the Patriotic Front (PF) adoptions for parliamentary candidates. Minister of Works and Supply Sylvia Chalikosa, Muchinga Province Minister Malozo Sichone and deputy speaker of the National Assembly, Mwimba  Malama  have not been adopted to recontest their respective seats in Muchinga Province. Announcing the list of Muchinga Province adopted candidates to contest as Members of Parliament yesterday, PF Secreatry General Davis Mwila said out of the 10 constituencies in the region, only four MPs were retained.    Mr Mwila said Ms Chalikosa who is Mpika constituency MP was replaced by PF Muchinga Province chairperson Francis Kapyanga, Ms Marjorie Nakaponda replaced Mr Sichone for Isoka constituency, while Ms Maureen Mabonga has replaced Mr Malama for Mfuwe Constituency. He said among the four that have been readopted include, Shiwanga’adu MP, Stephen Kampyongo who is Home Affairs Minister, Chinsali MP Kalalwe Mukosa, Chama South MP Mung’andu Davison and Mafinga MP Jacob Siwale. PF media director Sunday Chanda was adopted for Kanchibiya constituency replacing Dr Martin Malama, Luka Simumba for Nakonde and Yotam Mtayachalo for Chama South constituency. Mr Mwila also announced that the party had made changes and settled for Brian Kajoba for Solwezi Central, Victor Kayekesi for Ikelengi constituencies, while Richard Kavwanda was adopted to contest the council chairperson in Ikelengi. Meanwhile, Mr Mwila announced that the party central committee has anonymously resolved to re-admit Mr Chishimba Kambwili and Mr Mwenya Musenge to the PF following their applications for re-admission.
