MATHEWS NDANDULA writes @SunZambian WITH the FIFA aligned Super League calendar in place, Zambian clubs have taken advantage of the international transfer window to beef up their squads with local and international players ahead of the 2020/21 season.Napsa stars football club has continued their chase of the best players ahead of the new season with two having been confirmed. Kabwe Warriors also announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Bless Selasie Bakai on a two-year contract. The pensioners have so far completed the transfer of attacking midfielder Jacob Ngulube from Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club ahead of the 2020/21 season.The 25-year-old energetic and versatile Ngulube has penned a three-year permanent deal with the CAF Confederation Cup debutants subject to completion of his medicals.His transfer becomes the second for Napsa Stars during the current transfer window, following the unveiling of Kenyan hitman, Timothy Otieno who has also signed a three-year contract with the club.“We have concluded with the transfer of Jacob Ngulube and this is very exciting for us. We know he will bring a lot of competition which is good for us,” said Club Board Chairperson Dr. Greg Nsofu in welcoming the midfielder.Meanwhile, the club has parted ways with former Konkola Blades striker Mathews Maleka who joined the club at the start of the 2017 season and Congolese striker, Mambote Assis who was signed before the start of the 2019/2020 season.“I would love to say a big thank you to the players that have left the club.
