PF, UPND VIOLENCE CONDEMNED
By ANDREW MUKOMA FORMER United Party for National Development (UPND) Kalomo district youth chairperson, Stephen Jamba has condemned the scenes of political violence between the PF and UPND supporters. Last Saturday, supporters of the two parties clashed in Mawaya compound leaving some injured. Mr Jamba expressed worry with the levels of intolerance between the UPND and PF supporters. He said there was so much rivalry between the two groups who live in the same communities. Mr Jamba described the violence that transpired at the weekend as disheartening and appalling. He said that the behaviour and animosity exhibited by the two political rivals should not be tolerated as it could degenerate into widespread turmoil. He added that political violence has the potential to bring discomfort to the electorate if the violent gangs are allowed to continue. Mr Jamba urged youths not to allow themselves  to be used as tools of political violence.
