By SIMON MUNTEMBA LATE Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chileshe Mulenga, demonstrated his aptitude as an intellectual par excellence, the Patriotic Front (PF) has said. PF Secretary-General, Davies Mwila, said the party received with shock and profound sadness the untimely death of  Dr Mulenga on Sunday morning after an illness. its think tank, deputy Secretary General and acting Secretary General, demonstrating his aptitude as an intellectual par excellence.  “He has now joined the great crowd of witnesses led by our patriarch – President Michael Chilufya Sata and other PF departed heroes, as they watch from heavenly terraces how the ruling party runs its race  in serving the people of Zambia,” Mr Mwila said. He also conveyed the  party’s condolences to the bereaved family.  “We honour his legacy and mourn his loss alongside his wife Ms Mary Mulenga and the family;  as well as the Minister of Home Affairs and staff at the Ministry,” Mr Mwila said.  According to a statement by Secretary to the Cabinet Simon Miti, Dr Mulenga was well until Sunday morning when he developed some health complications.  He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.  The funeral is being held at the family residence plot number 1105, off Munali road, Lusaka.
