ZAMBIAN Super League champions Nkana FC have secured a partnership deal with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) with a three-year shirt sponsorship deal and Sports Betting company, Betway Zambia as the main shirt sponsor for a period of three years.
Speaking during the unveiling of Nkana’s 2020/2021 kit at Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe recently, ZRA Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda said the authority settled for Nkana because it was the most successful and oldest club in Zambia thereby commanding one of the largest support bases and having won the league title 13 times.
Club president Joel Silwimba says his executive has been working very hard in ensuring that some of the challenges witnessed in the previous year are minimized hence bring on board Betway Zambia as the main shirt Sponsor and ZRA will also procure ten thousand replica jerseys for further marketing.
ZRA will work with Nkana football club management to achieve its brand objectives and will ensure that through sponsorship they will advertise the locally produced Tax system. Silwimba noted that the two institutions will sponsor all the three Nkana replicas namely the traditional red Jersey for home games, the White for away games and the alternative Jersey.
He says that the Umbro Jersey will surpass expectation and that his executive will exhibit financial discipline to ensure that they meet their objective.
Silwimba disclosed that his executive planned on attracting and bringing on board other sponsors to cater issues such as accommodation and wining bonuses.
