NEW PF MANIFESTO INSPIRING – ANALYST
By NOEL IYOMBWA THE newly launched Patriotic Front manifesto has given renewed hope to Zambians, political analyst David Kapoma has said. Mr Kapoma said President Edgar Lungu has touched on important aspects of the country’s economy, thereby giving hope to many Zambians. He said in an interview yesterday that the manifesto has given people an understanding of where the country would be in the next five years in terms of development. Mr Kapoma observed that the manifesto would address the challenges that the country has been facing. “The manifesto has explained clearly how the borrowed money has been used. This gives encouragement to the citizens. “The manifesto is full of practical strategies and once implemented the country will be headed in the right direction. That is what is required unlike other manifestos which are not practical,” he added. He noted that the PF Government had concentrated on building the country adding that in the next five years, it he will embark on empowering the citizens.  Mr Kapoma noted that once voted, the country would see more developmental programmes aimed at empowering the people. He called on Zambians to give PF and President Lungu another mandate to continue with his developmental agenda. President Lungu launched the 2021 to 2026 manifesto at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka. The new manifesto gives an account of all key policies, programs, and projects that the PF has initiated and implemented since forming Government in 2011.
