Manchester United ‘Drop Their Asking Price For Paul Pogba To Just í53 Million’

THE Paul Pogba to Real Madrid transfer links have once again resurfaced, with reports emerging that Manchester United have lowered their asking price for the midfielder to just £53 million (€60m).It has been a tough old season for the World Cup winning midfielder thus far. The Frenchman has, at times, shown glimpses of brilliance, especially in United’s emphatic 5-0 win against RB Leipzig in the Champions League.But his inconsistency in the middle of the park has, for the most part, raised eyebrows among supporters.Pogba’s future remains a major talking point, especially after reports emerged that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will accept a reduced fee (€60m) for the player, as claimed by Spanish publication AS.Real Madrid are once again said to be the club interested.Zidane has always been keen on the move but the financial aspect of the deal has always been an issue, until now it seems.Italian outlet Calciomercato have also reportedly stated that Pogba “wants to put himself under the command of Zinedine Zidane from next season” and has managed to get Manchester United to lower his price to 60 million euros.Back in March last year, Pogba did not bat away a question about Real Madrid in a France press conference, instead admitting it would be a “dream” to play for Los Blancos.The midfielder did stress he was enjoying life as a Manchester United, but did not exactly quash talk of him becoming a Galactico at some point in the future.“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone,” Pogba is quoted as saying by The Mirror.“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.
