MALANJI PAYS SCHOOL FEES FOR 300 CHILDREN
By ROGERS KALERO KWACHA Member of Parliament Joe Malanji has paid school fees for more than 300 vulnerable children in his constituency, Kitwe District Education Board Secretary (DEBS) Chrispin Nyungila has confirmed. Mr Malanji has also paid tuition fees for a number of vulnerable children in tertiary institutions as a way of helping them access education. Mr Nyungila said Mr Malanji had again come to aid of vulnerable by paying school fees for more than 300 vulnerable children.n “I can confirm that Mr Malanji has paid school fees for more than 300 vulnerable children in his constituency. He has also paid tuition fees for those vulnerable children attending tertiary institutions, but I can’t dwell much on this one because it is not under my jurisdiction,” Mr Nyungila said Meanwhile, Zambia Deaf Women and Youth (ZDWY) chairman, Frank Musukwa, said it was gratifying that Mr Malanji has continued to uplift the lives of vulnerable children in his constituency and Kitwe in general. Mr Musukwa was happy that Mr Malanji had paid school fees for over 300 vulnerable. “This is a good gesture which we must appreciate from our leaders who put education as priority for the vulnerable and underprivileged children. Mr Malanji has also been  empowering marketeers and youths in various ways and has also constructed the Police Post in Nkana East residential area which has been named after First Lady Esther Lungu and went on to buy a Nissan hard body for the same police post.
