RABECCA BANDA writes @SunZambian A Lusaka man has been dragged to court for impersonating a public officer employed at the Office of the President and obtaining money by false pretenses. Appearing at the Lusaka magistrates court before Magistrate Felix Kaoma was Prince Nyendwa 26 of Chelstone charged with 14 counts. In count one it is alleged that Nyendwa on dates unknown but between June 1 2020 and December 31 2020 did falsely represent himself as a public officer employed at the Office of the President to Scott Mbaya as a training officer. In count two it is alleged that Nyendwa in dates unknown but between June 1 2020 and December 31 2020 did falsely present himself as a public officer employed at the Office of the President to Prudence Kapansha as a training officer. In count three it is alleged that Nyendwa on dates unknown but between June I 2020 and December 31 2020 did falsely represent himself as a public officer employed at the Office of the President to Danielle Kunda as a training officer. In count four it is alleged that Nyendwa in dates unknown but between June 1 2020 and December 31 2020 did falsely present himself as a public officer employed at the Office of the President to Agrippa Kunda. Nyendwa pleaded not guilty to all fourteen counts.
