Lundazi couple test positive to COVID-19
Two out of the 18 samples  that the Ministry of health collected from COVID-19 suspected cases in Lundazi District of Eastern Province have tested positive. The two positive cases are for a couple of Mtendere township of Lundazi who travelled to Malawi to attend a burial of their relative who is suspected to have died of coronavirus. ZANIS reports that Lundazi District Health Director, Jonathan Chama disclosed during the COVID-19 stakeholders meeting yesterday, that the couple have since been placed under home quarantine as they were asymptomatic and stable. Dr Chama said out of the 18 samples of those who had travelled to Malawi, nine were analysed out of which two were COVID-19 positive and that the other nine are still being awaited. – ZANIS The Sun
