MATHEWS NDANDULA writes@SunZambian CONGOLESE national Lukong Mbuyamba Mutombo has joined Sensational Zanaco FC from Eden University National Division One Champions Indeni FC on a 2-year contract.The 24-year-old goalkeeper signed for the Bankers folowing an impressive performance in the 2019/20 season, where Mutombo enjoyed huge success at Indeni FC.He spent several years in the TP Mazembe youth side – TP Mazembe Ecole de Foot before making a move to Zambia to join Ndola United in 2016 where he was spotted by Indeni in 2017.He will battle it out with Racha Kola, Toaster Nsabata and Mangeni Banda for the number one choice, with young Benson Mwale joining Buildcon on a season long loan.Mutombo becomes the ninth player to pen a contract with Zanaco FC in preparation for the new season.Former Zambian international mindfider Chisamba Lungu was first who came as free agent followed by Baba Basile a striker who came from from Muza Football Club.Joel Kapend, a defender who came from Nkwazi football club, is another player who has registered his names in the books of the bankers also Albert Kangwanda a striker from Kafue Celtic has signed for a 1 year Loan.Two midfielders Obino chisala and Abraham Siankombo have signed a 3 year contact from happy hearts and Police College respectively.Meanwhile George Nyimbili, a Striker and Mike Zozi Midfielder have been promoted from Young Zanaco to the senior team.
