Kawambi refutes Clifford Mulenga’s girls in camp claims
MUKWIMA CHILALA writes THE 2012 Zambia National Soccer team manager LusekeloKamwambi has refuted allegations by Clifford Mulenga that some of his team mates sneaked women in camp resulting in his expulsion from the team in Malabo Equatorial Guinea. Mulenga, a member of the 2012 Chipolopolo team was expelled from camp for breaking curfew rules, last week opened a Pandora’s box when he laid bare details of his ejection from the team on You tube show dubbed ‘’Studio Ken” . But Kamwambi has refuted the details saying that former coach HerveRenard and backroom staff that included him as team manager always instilled high levels of discipline. Kamwambi noted that those found wanting would always be fined or expelled from the camp.  The former National Team manager noted that Mulenga errored in casting aspersions on his colleagues who brought glory to mother Zambia. He noted that by his own confession the former Chipolopolo winger had just justified that action taken against him was appropriate. ‘’First and foremost Herve Renard and his backroom staff instilled in the team high levels of discipline. Those found wanting would be fined or expelled from camping,” Kamwambi said. Mulenga alleged that he was used as scapegoat to set as an example to other players as only he was expelled out of the five players that had broken camp. He further alleged that three out of the five players had sneaked women in camp, a revelation that has received mixed reactions from the soccer fraternity. The Sun
