INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS COMPLETION CHEERS LUNGU
By AARON CHIYANZO in Mumbwa PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has expressed happiness that almost all infrastructure projects that were above 80 percent have been completed. President Lungu said this would give chance for projects which were below 80 percent to be continued. He said the PF government had prioritised completion of infrastructure projects above 80 percent owing to challenges of funds. The President said this when he inspected ongoing construction works at Mumbwa Trades School. “Due to limited financial resources, we made it our policy to prioritise completion of projects that are at 80 percent and above. I am happy that almost all of them are complete,” he said. And President Lungu visited flood victims in Mumbwa and assured them of continued government support until they were able to fend themselves. President Lungu said land and cement had been secured for the over 50 families living in tents    so that they could build decent houses. “DMMU will continue providing food for you until such a time when you are able to take care of yourselves,” he said. Meanwhile, Mumbwa district commissioner Pamela Chipongwe said plots to give the flood victims had already been found.
