IGNORE FRUSTRATED LUONDE – PF
By SIMON MUNTEMBA FORMER Anglican priest Richard Luonde is a frustrated individual who has resorted to spreading lies about President Edgar Lungu and the ruling party for personal political gains, the Patriotic Front (PF) has charged. PF Member of the central committee Kennedy Kamba said Zambians must ignore lies of political failures like Fr. Luonde who is busy hallucinating about taking over government as they would be sent into retirement come August 12, 2021. Mr Kamba’s remarks follow Fr. Luondes’s remarks in one of the   tabloids that the “PF Government is so uncaring to an extent that it has fired the doctors.” Mr Kamba who is also PF Lusaka Province chairperson said in an interview that unlike the lies being spread by Fr. Luonde, Government  only fired Dr Brian Sampa on disciplinary grounds. He said it was out of frustration that Fr Luonde was claiming that the PF Government was so uncaring to an extent that it has fired the doctors. “It is quite disheartening that frustrated politicians like Ex Anglican priest Richard Luonde have run out of criticism and have opted to tell lies about President Edgar Lungu and the PF. “Our advice to Zambia is that people like Richard Luonde, the former Anglican priest must be ignored because people like him and the illegal faction of the NDC that have now joined the UPND are so frustrated that all they know is to tell lies to sway the minds of unsuspecting electorates as we near the general elections,” Mr Kamba has said. He advised Fr. Luonde to tell the truth at all times and to put things into context rather than putting up alarming statements with so much desperation to get the attention of the people. Mr Kamba explained that contrary to what Fr. Luonde was claiming, people should take an official statement by Ministry of Information Permanent Secretary Amos Malupenga who yesterday announced that 300 doctors have been recruited with progress made in meeting the other needs and plight of resident doctors. He said no lies would hoodwink Zambians into believing that the opposition and their cronies had something tangible to offer. Mr Kamba said the former priest should know that his preferred opposition candidate in the forthcoming elections is not trusted by Zambians.
