HH HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU
By ADRIAN MWANZA  IT is too early for Mr Kelvin Bwalya Fube (KBF) to be aggrieved and feel left out of the Alliance, says UPND secretary-general Batuke Imenda. Mr Imenda said the President was making appointments systematically and that he had not forsaken his friends who helped him ascend to the presidency. He was reacting to UPND Alliance partner, Kelvin Fube, who said that the UPND was not voted in power alone but it was the result of a concerted effort by other partners who worked hard to deliver the victory.  Mr Fube was reacting to claims that the UPND  was slowly dropping the Alliance tag.  Mr Fube cautioned UPND that this would create problems because the election victory was a collective effort with Alliance partners. But Mr Imenda said that the Alliance partner needed to talk to his ‘friend’ about his grievances so that an amicable solution could be found. “Those people are friends, and they were together at school, so they should just sit down for them to come up with an amicable solution,” he said. Mr Imenda however said that the appointments were still ongoing and that the President would not forget the partners that worked tirelessly to ensure that they ousted the PF government. He said the President had made appointments for the likes of MDC and ADD leaders Felix Mutati and Charles Milupi, respectively due to their input. “More appointments are coming, it may not be ministerial but also the civil service, so Alliance partners should at least exercise some patience as they have not been forgotten or forsaken,’’ he said. Mr Imenda said the party appreciated Mr Fube’s contributions and that he did not need to worry about anything. He said the Alliance was a joint venture and that the UPND respected that and was going to stick to their end of the bargain.  NOTE: It has come to our attention that the Zambia We Want is headed by MrErnest Mwansa and not Mr Kelvin Bwalya Fube as earlier reported.
