MULENGA MUSONDA writes @SunZambianA 23-YEAR-OLD Farmer pleaded not guilty before the Choma Magistrates Court to stealing two Goats.This was in a matter in which Gifred Moono has been dragged to the Choma Magistrates Court charged with Stock Theft contrary to the Laws of Zambia.Allegations are that Moono stole two Goats valued at K700 the property of Bernard Chibbunu.The alleged incident happened on 4 October 2020 in Choma District of Southern Province.When he appeared for plea before Court, Moono denied the charge read to him by Magistrate Muyambango Munukayumbwa through the Court Interpreter Munika Mwananshiku in Tonga language he understood better.Court: Have you understood the charge read to you?Moono: Yes.Court: Do you admit or deny?Moono: I deny.Court: I record a plea of not guilty.After recording a plea of not guilty, Magistrate Munukayumbwa adjourned the matter to October 8, for commencement of trial.Moono was remanded in custody.
