By KETRA KALUNGA                                                                                                                              THE Anti-Bill 10 campaign has politically hit the UPND very hard because it forced them to adopt parliamentary candidates who are not wanted by the people on the ground, says Greyfold Monde. Mr. Monde said the selfish move made by the UPND to oppose Bill 10 compromised their adoption process forcing them to ignore the will of the electorates in the adoptions to appease former MPs who de-campaigned the bill. The former UPND member said in an interview that the opposition are disoriented because they have realised that their move to de-campaign Bill 10 is already working against them. “They promised MPs that we will adopt you if you vote against Bill 10 and because of wanting to honour that promise, they ended adopting candidates who are not wanted by the electorates,” Mr Monde said. The former Livestock and Fisharies minister said the opposition parties would have themselves to blame if the bill they shot down works against them because it has a lot of lacunas which needed to be corrected. Mr. Monde said on the other hand, the Patriotic Front would be vindicated when that time comes because what they brought to the table was the correct thing. SUBSCRIBE TO READ MORE STORIES: SUBSCRIBE
