EAZ president Lubinda Haabazoka in an interview said that it was good that business entities would start operating on full capacity after going for almost two years from the time Covid-19 started. Dr Haabazoka said the country is expected to start recording positive results since jobs that were lost by people in industries like the hospitality, recreational would be recouped. “It’s good that finally the government has decided to remove the restrictions for a month due to the low cases of Covid-19 in the country and I’m certain the economy will see an upswing,” he said. Dr Haabazoka said that most organisations were producing at half capacity and that it was difficult to maximise their profits. On Friday, Government lifted the Covid-19 restrictions for the next one month starting yesterday following the reduced transmission of cases in Zambia.
