By MICHAEL MIYOBAAFTER attracting interest from English giants Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has caught the eye of Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs.According to football.london, Spurs are considering to beef up their squad with the Red Bull Salzburg striker who scored a historic brace against Liverpool last month. The 21-year-old former Nchanga Rangers and Power Dynamos striker who can also play out wide if required, scored 24 goals in 31 games in the Austrian top flight and laid on eight assists.Meanwhile, Daka became the first Red Bull Salzburg player to score a haul in an Austrian Cup match since 2014.Daka scored four goals and chipped in with two assists for the Red Bull Salzburg side that thrashed SW Bregenz 10-0 in a UNIQA OFB Cup encounter. His countryman, midfielder Enock “Computer” Mwepu scored one of the goals in what was a superb showing by the two Zambian internationals.Daka started with an assist, threading the ball through to Sekou Koita, who made no mistake with the ball and dispatched it past the goalkeeper’s reach inside the far post before he added his name on the score sheet from a penalty to make it 2-0.Salzburg continued to attack without mercy with Okugawa dribbling into the box and was brought down as Daka turned and tucked the ball in the near post to make it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. The Austrian giants continued to press on and Mo Camara unleashed a real rocket to sink the ball into the top corner in the 28th minute for Salzburg’s fourth goal.Six minutes letter, Enock Mwepu slotted it in tidily from close range before Daka saw off two defenders and the goalkeeper to fire in to complete a hat trick in the 38th minute.Daka made it 7-0 a minute later after benefitting from Kristensen who picked him out again to smash it into the back of the net before Sucic scored his first goal for the Red Bulls who were gifted a penalty two minutes before halftime.Salzburg added two more goals in the second half to progress to the next round with a 10-0 scoreline.
