JACKSON MAPAPAYI writes@SunZambianA 41-year-old man of Kasempa has been arrested for allegedly defiling his biological 12-year-old daughter.North-western province Commissioner of police Elias Chushi confirmed the sad development and identified the suspect of Kamakuku area.Mr Chushi said in 25 September, this year the suspect enticed his daughter to accompany him in the bush on the pretext that he had some work to do.He explained that while in the bush, the father forced himself on the victim and defiled her.He said the suspect only let the victim go after she cried for help and she sustained bruises on her private part. “But she kept quiet because her father threatened her. However, on Friday last week the mother of the girl, noticed something unusual in her daughter’s activeness. She coerced her to talk and her daughter opened up to her mother and described the experience she went through,” Mr Chushi said.He said fearing her husband, the mother confided the report in the Nurse at Kamakuku Clinic.“The police were quickly alerted and the suspect was arrested and charged for the offence of incest and will appear in court soon while the victim has been admitted to Mukinge Mission Hospital,” he said.
