ANDREW MUKOMA writes POLICE in Livingstone have recovered various household goods that were stolen through break-in and burglary. District Criminal Investigations Officer (DCIO), Noble Mulenga, said police recovered property worth millions of kwacha including an industrial machinery worth about K 450,000. Mr Mulenga appealed to residents who experienced house breaking and theft to get to Livingstone Central police to identify their goods. The DCIO said this during the visit of Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja. He said a number of electrical appliances were recovered from a group of 11 juvenile offenders who were terrorising the district. Mr Mulenga said that the juvenile offenders were currently in jail serving their sentences. He said since offenders had been convicted and property recovered, those whose property could have been stolen should go and identify their property. Kanganja has commended the police command in the district and encouraged police officers to do more in protecting property and people’s lives. The Sun
