Unfortunately, that didn’t go according to plan. I am happy that we have started getting results that we ini-tially wanted,” Kampamba said.According to a statement issued by Zesco United FC Media Officer Desmond Katongo, the in-form midfielder had predicted a tough encounter at Sunset stadium.“Zesco United and Zanaco are both big teams in our league. You expect a tough encounter whenever the two meet.”Kampamba went into the game enlivened by the two goals he scored against Kabwe Warriors last week: “I am extremely happy to have scored two goals for my new club. It is an important moment for any player who has just joined a new club. I will continue working very hard to ensure that the team is successful.”Goals from Moses Phiri, Baba Basile and Rodger Kola handed Zanaco their second win of the season to move to eight points.Moses Phiri broke the deadlock within 10 minutes of kick off, beating Ian Otieno with a spectacular strike as he benefitted from Baba Basile’s cross.Basile almost doubled Zanaco’s advantage in the 36th minute with a shot which went wide as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of the hosts.Within a minute into the second half, Zanaco coach Chris Kaunda introduced Abraham Siankombo for Albert Kangwanda as Zesco almost grabbed the equaliser in the 50th minute when Racha Kola saved Jese Were’s shot.Baba Basile finally put his name on the score sheet and made it 2-0 for the bankers in the 58th minute.With a minute before the final whistle, midfielder Kampamba scored the consolation goal for Zesco.Meanwhile, in the lunch time kick off played earlier at the same venue, Indeni held Red Arrows to a goalless draw.At Garden Park in Kitwe, Nkwazi recorded their fourth draw of the season following a 0-0 stalemate with Kitwe United.Another stalemate was recorded at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium where Kabwe Warriors and Lusaka Dynamos were involved in a goalless draw.
