Choma drug pusher admits charge
BY MULENGA MUSONDAA 20-YEAR-OLD drug pusher has admitted before the Choma Magistrates Court to selling narcotic and psychotropic drugs.In the dock was Wilson Siamuche Zambia Township who was charged with two counts of trafficking and unlawful possession of controlled drugs contrary to the laws of Zambia.Particulars of the offence in count one are that Siamuche trafficked in 1.3 kilogrammes of marijuana a herbal product of Cannabis Sativa without lawful authority or medical recommendation.In the second count, he is alleged to have unlawfully possessed 0.4 grammes of heroin without lawful authority.The incidents are said to have happened on September 30, 2020 in Choma.When he appeared for plea, Siamuche said he understood all the charges read to him by the court interpreter Munika Mwananshiku in Tonga, the language he was comfortable with.Siamuche pleaded guilty to all the charges and explained to the court that the drugs he was found with were for sale and he was given by a Joze to conduct the illegal activities.Magistrate Muyambango Munukayumbwa entered pleas of guilty in both counts and adjourned the matter to a later date after Public Prosecutor applied for an adjournment.Siamuche will appear on October 20 for facts and possible sentencing
