Bill 10 misinformation rife, says Minister
By NATION REPORTER NORTH-Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu has expressed concern with the levels of falsehoods being peddled by individuals against amendment Bill number 10. Mr Mubukwanu said Bill 10 was innocent as opposed to how some people have been talking about it.  He was speaking in Solwezi when a team of Bill 10 advocates paid a courtesy call on him yesterday. “The bill is innocent but some section of the people have been condemning the content but I can assure you, the bill is good and progressive,” he said. Mr Mubukwanu said he was convinced that national unity and development were tied to a proper and people-driven constitution and  he was hopeful   the bill would go through as people of Zambia had seen the importance of it. And leader of the Bill 10 advocates, Chilufya Chishala said the team was in the province to sensitise the people on the important clauses in the bill. Mr Chishala said the team has over 50, 000 copies of translated copies of Bill 10 and its contents. Among the team members are Prince Ndoyi, Pengele Filamba and James Kaumba.
